It all started Tuesday night when Nats outfielder Nyjer Morgan plowed over Marlins catcher Brett Hayes, ending his season.
The Marlins responded by throwing at Morgan and two other Nationals early in the game, which Morgan says should have been the end of it. When Chris Volstad threw behind Morgan in the fifth, Morgan charged the mound and tried to throw a punch, but first baseman Gaby Sanchez intercepted Morgan and dropped him with a flying clothesline. I'm a proud fantasy owner of Sanchez today.
In all, four players and both managers were ejected.
