Minnesota at New Orleans:
Since the New Orleans Saints are the defending Super Bowl Champions, they are the lucky team to host the annual NFL Kickoff Game. The defending Super Bowl Champion is undefeated (6-0) in this annual national televised event. This game is a rematch of the classic 2010 NFC Championship Game in which Garrett Hartley’s field goal propelled the Saints to the Super Bowl in Miami. Brett Favre and the Vikings will try and get revenge in this game, but they are not the same team (no Sidney Rice) and the Saints will be emotionally charged after seeing their Championship banner raised in the Superdome. Expect Vikings QB Brett Favre to be hit early and often by blitz packages created by Saints defensive coordinator Greg Williams.
Prediction: Saints 30-20
